DON’T GIVE UP!!

We all have dreams and we set goals to achieve them but life can be uncertain and very difficult at some point. We struggle to succeed but some time it becomes very hard to remain optimistic and keep the same perspective of resilience. Sometimes “Giving up” becomes the easiest option.

The actual reality is, when you are faced with setbacks, rejections or problems after problems, confidently remind yourself of the strength and potentials in you, to enable you get through the negativity that creeps your mind.

Napoleon Hill rightly said;

“Life you can’t seduce me because I refused to take your discipline too serious. When you try to hurt me, I laugh and the laughter knows no pain.

I appreciate your joys wherever I find them; your sorrows neither frighten nor discourage me, for there’s laughter in my soul.”

You don’t have to be discouraged whenever challenges surface while striving to achieve your goals because this absolutely confirmed that you are on the right path.

“The road to success and the road to failure are almost exactly the same”, as observed by Colin R. Davis.

Successful people are persistent in their causes and practice. They take initiatives and plan a cause of action to gain focus. They don’t waiver from their core goals and objectives even when things are not working their way. They are committed to what they are doing because they believe it.

STORY OF THE ELEPHANT ROPE

A gentleman was working through an elephant camp and he noticed that the elephants are being kept in cages and all that was holding them back was a small piece of rope tie to one of their legs.

As the man gazed upon the elephants, he was confused on why the elephants didn’t just use their strength to break the rope and escape the camp. They could easily have done that but they didn’t try.

The man was curious to know the answer, he asked a trainer nearby, that why the elephants were just standing and never tried to escape?

The trainer replied;

“When they were very young and much smaller, we use the same rope size to tie them and at that age it was strong enough to hold them. As they grow older and much bigger, they are conditioned to believe the rope can still hold them so they never try to break free.”

No matter how much the world tried to hold you back, always believe that it is possible to achieve your goals. Believing that you can become successful is the first step to actualizing your dreams.

Moreover, believing is very important but it’s not enough to pull through success. You need to take a consistent action and have the right attitude.

Right attitude is a rational, positive attitude that enables optimism and builds confidence.

Napoleon Hill pointed out by saying;

“Because I know that my character is developed from my own acts and thoughts, I will guard with care all that goes into its development”.

If you think positively and act optimistically then you are destined to make your dreams a reality.
